Network filtering
Domains to allow through your web filter.
If video will not play on the school network, filtering is almost always the cause, not bandwidth. Allowing these domains through your filtering (for N4L managed networks, in the filtering dashboard) resolves it.

Email deliverability
Make sure invitations arrive.
Enrolment invitations, reminders and certificate notifications are sent through Resend from noreply@professionalinsight.co.nz, and our sending domain authenticates with SPF and DKIM.
If teachers report missing invitations, check quarantine for that address first, and consider adding it to your safe-senders list before a whole-staff rollout.
Browser and device requirements
- Any modern browser: a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari
- Works on phones, tablets, laptops and desktops
- JavaScript and cookies enabled
- Nothing to install: no apps, no plug-ins, no admin rights on school devices
Video and bandwidth
Video streams adaptively and adjusts to the available connection, so standard school broadband is fine and no special provisioning is needed. Captions are shown by default on videos that have them, so those sections hold up in a noisy staffroom or with the sound off. If video fails entirely, the filtering domains above are the first thing to check.
Security notes for IT
Accounts support multi-factor authentication, video plays only through signed links issued to logged-in learners, and access rules are enforced at the database level.
